The first question most people ask: I have two left feet. Can I still learn to dance? The answer: Absolutely!
Frequently Asked Questions

What should I wear?
For lessons: Casual to business casual is appropriate. For parties: We like to dress up a little - business casual to semi-formal. Shoes that slide on a wood floor are kinder to your knees. Ladies should wear shoes that will stay on their feet when walking backward.

What if I've never danced before?
You've come to the right place! Try a beginning level group class or dance party with beginning lesson. That's why we're here! We're a friendly group, and we're all learning together. If you're really nervous, consider a private lesson to get a head start.

Do I need a partner?
No. Couples have the option to rotate partners or stick together. There are usually enough singles and couples who rotate so that everyone gets a chance to dance with a partner.

How do I sign up?
The beginning Ashland Parks and Rec classes are the only classes you need to pre-register for. Call Parks and Rec at 541-488-5340 or register on-line at ashlandparks.recware.com. All other classes are open to drop-ins. Please contact me, if you're interested in joining a dance team.
