Performance Groups

Performance is a great motivator for improving your dance. Plus, it's fun to work with a group and show off what you can do. Performance classes are open to people whether they plan to perform or not. So, don't be shy about asking if you can participate. The goal is maximum fun and inspiration with limited stress.

Group: Momentum
Level: Intermediate-Advanced
Current Dance: Quickstep (Viennese Waltz in January)
Focus: Fast-paced, high-energy dances like Quickstep, Viennese Waltz and Cha Cha. This group gets it's name from the fact that you just can't stop these folks from dancing!
Performance Dates: January 16 Evergreen Showcase; Other dates TBA. Viennese Waltz at the Waltz Ball on March 14.

Group: Quixotic
Level: Intermediate-Advanced
Current Dance: Tango-Night Club Two-Step medley
Focus: Slow, romantic dances like Waltz, international Rumba and Night Club Two-Step.
Performance Dates: January 16 Evergreen Showcase; Other dates TBA.

Group: Firefly
Level: Beginning-Intermediate
Current Dance: Viennese Waltz (begins in February)
Focus: Low-stress performance for newer dancers and social dancers.
Performance Dates: March 14 at the Waltz Ball; May 1 at the Evergreen Showcase.
